Getting Started
What is QRown?
QRown gives you a profile page for your contact details, links, and content, shared through one link or QR code. Use it for personal introductions, your business, or a team.
How do I create my first profile?
Create an account, then choose an available @handle and enter your profile name. Those are the only details needed to create the profile. It starts as Public; you can change its visibility in profile settings. The optional setup that follows helps you add more information, and you can return to it later.
Create an accountWhat is an @handle?
Your handle is the unique name in your profile’s web address, such as /@yourname. Choose something people will recognize and can easily share. Your profile name is the name displayed on the page and can be different from your handle.
More about handlesWhat should I add to my profile first?
Start with a recognizable photo and one way to contact you, such as an email address, phone number, or useful link. Add a short headline to explain who you are, then check your profile and visibility before sharing.
Can I edit my profile after sharing it?
Yes. Save changes to your profile details, blocks, or design to update the page visitors open. Your main profile QR continues to point to that profile. Information already printed or saved in someone’s contacts does not update automatically.
Does QRown require an app?
No QRown app is required. You manage your profiles in a browser. Visitors can open your link or scan your QR with a phone camera or QR reader; they do not need an account to view a Public profile.
Profiles & Visibility
Who can see a Public profile?
Anyone can open a Public profile by its link or QR code while the profile is active. Public profiles with Search visibility, active workspace access, and completed Discovery are eligible for search engines and included in QRown’s profile sitemap. Search visibility is included on Starter, Plus, and Business. Public visibility does not guarantee indexing or automatically opt you into the QRown directory.
How is Unlisted different from Public?
Anyone with the link can still open an Unlisted profile. QRown marks it noindex, excludes it from the profile sitemap, and keeps it out of the public discovery directory. Unlisted does not restrict who can open or forward the link. Search engines may take time to reflect a visibility change.
How does QR Only visibility work?
Visitors need to open a QR code that leads to your profile. This gives that browser temporary access; the ordinary profile link alone does not grant access. QR Only profiles are marked noindex and excluded from the sitemap and public discovery directory. QR Only availability depends on your plan.
Compare visibility optionsWhat happens when I make a profile Private?
A Private profile is not publicly accessible, including through its QR code or contact-card download. It is excluded from search indexing, the sitemap, and the public discovery directory. You can still manage it in your account if you have permission.
Can I hide my profile without deleting it?
Yes. Choose Private to stop public access while keeping the profile for later. Choose Unlisted if you want it to remain accessible by link while asking search engines not to index it. Changing visibility does not erase copies already saved or shared elsewhere.
More about visibility and searchDiscovery
What is Discovery?
Discovery is the structured information that helps QRown describe who you are, what you do, and where you work. Eligible answers can contribute to search descriptions and structured data. With directory listing enabled and the requirements met, they also help people find you on QRown’s Discover page.
Explore DiscoverIs Discovery the same as my public profile?
Your public profile is the page visitors open, with your headline, contact details, and content blocks. Discovery is a separate set of answers used for eligible search information and directory cards. It does not add a visible Discovery section to your profile. Only enter information you want to make public.
What information can I add to Discovery?
You can describe whether the profile represents a person or business, choose a category, list services, and add a description. You can also describe whether you work online, receive customers, or travel to them, with an operating location and service areas where relevant. Email, phone, and other contact details belong in your profile blocks.
Do I have to complete Discovery?
No. You can create and share your profile without completing it. You can return to Discovery later, and each Continue step saves your progress. Completing it with a description, an available category, or a named service is required for search eligibility and optional directory listing.
How do I appear on QRown’s Discover page?
Use Public visibility, enable directory listing, and finish Discovery with a description, an available category, or at least one service. Your profile must have Search visibility and active profile and workspace access. Directory listing is optional and uses the same eligibility requirements as search engines. Visitors can search by name, category, service, or location and filter by profile type and how you work.
Search the directoryDoes completing Discovery guarantee that I appear in Google?
No. Search engines decide whether to index a page, how to display it, and where it ranks. Discovery gives them eligible structured information about your Public profile; it does not guarantee indexing, rankings, or a particular search appearance.
Which parts of Discovery need a paid plan?
Every plan can save and edit Discovery answers. Search visibility on Starter, Plus, and Business makes Public profiles with active access and completed Discovery eligible for search engines and optional directory listing. Enhanced discovery separately controls advanced search metadata. Answers stay saved when either entitlement ends.

How do I add my QR Page to my Home Screen?
Open your profile in the editor, scroll to Profile settings, and tap the Home Screen shortcut row. Add the QR Page that opens using Safari on iPhone or iPad, or Chrome on Android. Then tap the new icon to check that your QR is ready to show.
Follow the illustrated setup guideDo I need to stay signed in to show my QR?
No. Your QR Page and its profile view can open without staying signed in for an accessible Public, Unlisted, or QR Only profile. Editing still requires sign-in and permission. The shortcut does not give anyone access to manage your account.
See how to use your QR PageDoes the Home Screen QR Page work offline?
Do not rely on it offline. An internet connection is needed to load the page and QR image reliably. Visitors also need a connection to open your profile. Adding a Home Screen icon does not create an offline copy.
Get help with loading and accessCan I use a Home Screen shortcut with QR Only visibility?
Yes. The QR Page lets you show the QR and view the profile without scanning first. Ordinary profile-link sharing is unavailable for QR Only; show the QR to give visitors access. The QR Page is accessible to anyone with its address and is not password protection. Private and plan-locked profiles remain unavailable.
Understand shortcut accessDo visitors need my Home Screen shortcut to scan my QR?
No. Your shortcut helps you find your QR. Visitors use their camera to scan it and open your profile in a browser, with no QRown app to install. Saving your contact details is a separate step they choose on the profile.
Learn the scan-to-contact stepsDoes every profile get a QR code?
Yes. QRown creates a main QR code with each profile. That code opens the profile, subject to its visibility and access status. Additional QR codes, where your plan allows them, can open your profile or a supported external destination.
Can I customize a QR code or add my logo?
QRown’s QR editor supports colors, styling, and a logo, with saving and custom downloads depending on your plan. Check the finished code at the size you intend to use; artwork and contrast can affect how easily it scans.
More about QR designCan I download my QR code?
Yes. Basic QR downloads are available on Free, and eligible plans add custom downloads. Use the download options shown for your code to save artwork for sharing or printing.
Do I need to reprint my QR after changing my profile?
Your main QR uses a stable destination tied to the profile, so changing its content or handle does not require reprinting the code. Keep the profile and code active, and remember that visibility controls access. Reprint if you want to change the artwork or any text printed beside it.
Can I see how often my QR is scanned?
Statistics includes recorded QR scans. A scan is a recorded event, not an identified person or proof that someone viewed the profile afterward. The reporting detail and available history depend on your plan.
Understand recorded activityProfile Design & Customization
Can I customize my profile and change its layout?
Yes. Use Design Studio to choose a layout, a coordinated theme, and a background preset. Every plan includes the available layouts and themes. Preview the result with your content before saving.
Explore profile designCan I change colors and backgrounds?
Use a theme and background preset for a coordinated starting point. Plans with advanced design access also let you choose custom solid colors or gradients and other design controls. The editor shows which choices require an upgrade.
Can I change my profile photo’s appearance?
You can upload a profile photo on Free. Advanced design options include photo shape and placement, while cover-image uploads have their own plan access. Available controls appear in the editor for the design you are editing.
Compare customization optionsCan I change my design later?
Yes. Your content stays with the profile when you change its design. Switching layouts resets design controls to the new layout’s defaults, so choose the layout before fine-tuning. Saved advanced styling can remain after a downgrade, but changing paid design settings requires the corresponding access.
Contact, Leads & Payments
How can visitors contact me?
Add contact blocks for the methods you want to share, such as email, phone, SMS, links, and locations. You can also include work details and availability. Supported blocks and quantities depend on your plan, and visitors choose which action to take.
Explore content blocksWhat is a Lead Form?
A Lead Form lets a visitor send you their details through a form connected to your profile. Starter, Plus, and Business include lead forms with name, email, message, phone, and company fields, plus submission access and exports.
Where can I read my leads?
Open Leads Inbox to review the submissions you can access. You can organize follow-up with notes and lead details; eligible plans add email notifications, reply shortcuts, and CSV exports. Your plan controls how many submissions you can view.
More about Forms & Leads InboxCan I add payment links or tips?
On a plan with payment blocks, you can offer supported payment methods and suggest a tip or flat amount. QRown opens the provider’s link or lets the visitor copy payment details. Amounts carry over only where the provider supports them.
Explore Payments & TipsDoes QRown process payments made through my profile?
Profile payment blocks direct visitors to your payment provider or payment details. The visitor completes the payment outside QRown. A payment-link click or selected amount does not prove a completed transaction; check your provider for payment confirmation.
Statistics
What does Statistics track?
Statistics reports recorded profile views, QR scans, and actions such as link or contact taps, contact-card downloads, and lead submissions. Reports describe activity that QRown recorded; they are not a complete count of people or proof of conversations, contact saves, or sales.
More about StatisticsCan I see profile views and QR scans separately?
Yes. Views and scans are separate measurements. Someone can open your link without scanning, and a scan does not guarantee a recorded profile view. Repeat activity can contribute more than one event.
What are Sources, Actions, and Activity?
Sources explains recorded entry routes such as QR codes and referring websites. Actions groups recorded interactions, including clicks, downloads, and form submissions. Activity shows recorded events grouped into browser sessions. Access to these reports varies by plan.
Compare Statistics accessHow much Statistics history can I view?
Your plan sets the reporting window shown below. This is the history you can view in Statistics, not a promise that all stored data is deleted when it falls outside that window.
- Free: 30 days
- Starter: 90 days
- Plus: 180 days
- Business: 365 days
Does QRown know exactly who viewed my profile?
A profile view or QR scan does not by itself tell you a person’s name or email. Sessions group activity from a browser and are not verified unique people. A visitor can choose to share contact information by submitting a Lead Form.
How is Statistics different from Analytics integrations?
Statistics is QRown’s own reporting of recorded interactions. Supported third-party Analytics integrations are separate features with their own setup and plan requirements. You do not need an external Analytics integration to use Statistics.
vCards & Sharing
What is a vCard?
A vCard is a contact file, usually ending in .vcf, that a phone or contacts app can import. QRown builds it from your profile’s contact information, such as name, email, phone, links, and supported work or location details.
How can visitors save my contact information?
Visitors use Save contact on an accessible profile, then finish saving through their device’s contact preview or downloaded file. A QR scan opens your profile; it does not automatically save a contact. A Private or plan-locked profile does not allow public contact-card downloads.
Teams & Workspaces
Which plan lets me invite team members?
Business includes team-member access. The workspace owner or an authorized admin can invite members, within the owner’s plan allowance. Joining someone else’s team does not require each member to buy the owner’s plan.
Compare team allowancesWho can edit profiles in a team workspace?
Owners and admins can manage profiles across their active workspace. Members can view team profiles and manage their own. Deleting profiles, changing ownership, and managing billing have separate permissions; being able to edit does not grant every account action.
Can a team manage more than one profile?
Yes. The workspace shares the profile allowance provided by its owner’s plan. Member invitations do not add a separate profile allowance for each person. Use the workspace switcher to work in the right personal or team workspace.
Plans & Billing
Is QRown free, and what does Free include?
You can start on Free without a credit card. It includes a profile with a custom handle, a profile photo, layouts and themes, basic contact and content blocks, a gallery, a main QR code with basic downloads, and Statistics with limited history. Lead forms are included on Starter and above. Check pricing for current feature allowances.
Compare plans and pricingHow many profiles can I create on each plan?
The current active-profile allowances are listed below. You can keep separate profiles for different purposes within your workspace’s allowance. The pricing page also explains the feature differences between plans.
- Free: 1 profile
- Starter: 1 profile
- Plus: 5 profiles
- Business: 20 profiles
Why would I upgrade?
Paid plans add more ways to customize and use each profile, including advanced design, custom QR downloads, enhanced discovery, payment blocks, and more lead tools. Higher tiers add profile capacity, team access, or more detailed Statistics. Choose based on the features you need and the current pricing comparison.
Find the right planCan I change plans later?
Yes. Use your subscription settings to review available plans and manage billing. Check the price, effective date, and any profile or feature impact shown before confirming a change.
What happens if I downgrade?
When the lower plan takes effect, its feature access and limits apply. QRown can ask you to choose which eligible profiles to keep active. Features above the new allowance may become unavailable or restricted. If the new plan does not support teams, owned team workspaces pause. Review the impact shown before confirming.
What happens to profiles above my new limit?
Profiles outside your active allowance can become plan locked. A locked profile is retained but is unavailable to visitors, excluded from search indexing and the directory, and cannot be edited normally. Follow any profile-selection prompt in your account to resolve which profiles stay active.
Can I reactivate a plan-locked profile?
An eligible profile you own in your personal workspace can be reactivated when your plan has an available active-profile slot. Check the Profiles page after increasing capacity. Team workspaces need the owner’s team access restored before normal use resumes.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Cancellation through QRown schedules paid membership to end at the end of its current billing period. When paid access ends, Free limits and feature access apply, including any required profile selection. Canceling a subscription does not delete your account.
Will downgrading or canceling delete my profile data?
A plan change does not permanently delete your profiles. Saved information can remain while access, editing, or visibility is restricted by the new plan. Permanently deleting a profile or account is a separate action and cannot be undone.
Account & Profile Management
Can I change my @handle?
Choose an available custom handle when you create a profile. Changing it later requires handle-edit access on your plan. Old-handle redirects also depend on plan access and whether that old handle is still available. Your main profile QR stays tied to the profile.
Understand handle changes and redirectsCan I permanently delete a profile?
If you have deletion permission, use the profile’s deletion controls and complete the confirmation. This permanently removes its content, QR codes, Discovery answers, and Statistics. Its lead submissions are removed with personal details cleared. Save anything you need first; deletion has no restore window.
What happens to a deleted profile’s links and printed QR codes?
They can no longer open the profile and show that it is no longer available. Deletion does not redirect visitors to a replacement profile. Print order history can remain even though the profile has been removed.
Can someone reuse a deleted profile’s handle?
Handles reserved by a deleted profile remain unavailable for reuse, including its recorded previous handles. If a previous handle already belongs to another live profile when deletion happens, that existing ownership is preserved. Renaming a live profile is different from permanently deleting it.
How do I delete my account?
Use Delete Account in your account settings and complete the confirmation. This is permanent, so download anything you need first. Contact support if you cannot access your account.
Get help with your accountDo I keep ownership of my content?
Under QRown’s Terms of Service, you retain ownership of content you upload and grant QRown permission to host, use, and display it to provide the service.
